Soliciting

Soliciting, or going door to door to sell, advertise, peddle, or promote commercial activity, is prohibited by posted signage in Dunn Loring Village. Please report any soliciting to the Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131 and let the police know the location you observed soliciting, a description of the persons involved, and the direction they are heading. Please note that Virginia law provides certain exceptions for newspapers, political, and non-commercial soliciting. All solicitors are required to be licensed by Fairfax County and are required to leave upon request or when there are no soliciting signs posted (Dunn Loring Village's signs are posted at each entrance the community). Fairfax County has more information on door to door soliciting.

Little Free Library

A Little Free Library is located on the Grovemore Lane cul-de-sac. Please feel free to use the library to share, borrow, or donate your books.

Hilltop Community Parking District

On January 24, 2018, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to enact a community parking district along the streets, Grovemore Lane and Hilltop Road, that touch our community. Signs has been posted in that restrict truck, trailer, and industrial equipment parking. Police are responsible for enforcement. These type of vehicles are also not permitted inside the Village.
